A collar stay is a small strip of a rigid material, typically made from plastic or metal, which are inserted into made pockets on the underside of a shirt’s collar. Its main purpose is to keep your collar looking sharp throughout the day, by providing structure to the collar and preventing the points from curling in an unsightly way.
